The Tooth Fairy

After a recent trip to the pediatric dentist and a quick peek at Addison's x-rays, I had a feeling she would be losing her first tooth real soon.  Her six year molars have already started to come in even though she just turned five and the x-ray showed her permanent teeth moving up to the surface ready to pop through.  I wasn't surprised when Addison woke up on Sunday morning wiggling her bottom tooth.  She went a whole week with that loose tooth.  That following Saturday, she layed down in her room to rest and about 30 minutes later she came running downstairs with her tooth in her hand.  She was smiling until she started to see the blood.  It turn out that she pulled the tooth while she was trying to rest.  I guess she was tired of it being loose.  After we got her all cleaned up, she was so excited the rest of the day! I've never see a child so excited to go to bed at night so the Tooth Fairy could visit her.  She wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy before she went to bed and put it in a sealed envelope along with her tooth.  The next morning, she was so excited to find the Tooth Fairy came and visited her.  She left a sweet note along with $5 and we found fairy dust along the windowsill in Addison's bedroom.
