Kearney Children's Museum

We weren't able to spend Valentine's Day all together with Chad still working in Nebraska, so that weekend, the kids and I packed up all our things and headed to Nebraska to surprise Chad.  Addison got out of school early on Friday, so we got to leave around noon and then she was off for President's Day so we were able to stay until Monday morning.  We made the 6 hour trip through the rain and snow and got to Kearney around 6:30.  Chad was so surprised to see us.  We spent Saturday seeing the Schreiber plant, doing some shopping, visiting the childrens museum, and dining at the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to.  Sunday, we spent the day in our pajamas watching movies, making pizza, taking naps, and hanging out.  It was a great relaxing weekend.  We were sad to have to go.  Here are some pictures of the Kearney Children's Museum.  It was an amazing place to visit.  We spent over two hours playing in the museum and the kids didn't want to leave.

The sunset on the way to Kearney

Buying food in the supermarket and ringing up each other's groceries

At the theater, Addison, the princess is being chased by the alligator

Homemade Bread

Because of all the recent events in our country right now, going to buy staples, like bread, in the grocery store has become very difficult....
