If you have ever read the children's book, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, you will understand that when you do give a moose a muffin, he'll want jam to go with it. We were in the mountains of Utah the other evening on Right Hand Fork just the four of us with the windows down and the kids in the front seat looking at the beautiful aspen trees changing colors and we saw a great big MOOSE! It was so exciting because I had never seen one in real life, just in pictures. I turned to grab my camera to take a picture and realized that I didn't have it. I had left it at home with the batteries plugged in to charge. So I thought, I'll get my phone and try to get a picture, but I didn't have it either. It was dead so I had plugged it in before we left. So there we were staring at this moose with huge antlers and large beard waiting to see what he was going to do and I had nothing to prove that I had seen it. We have been on that same road near that same spot with camera and phone in hand twice now, and have yet to see any other wildlife. Maybe next time we go out, I will have some blueberry muffins in hand along with some jam. Do you think that will attract him again? I sure hope so!
Welcome to our blog! I'm so glad you stopped by. Our family of 4 have moved all over this country and we made our way back to Texas to be closer to family. Through this blog of many posts and pictures, we want to share our love of Jesus and strive daily to train our children in the way that they should go so they'll never depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
