The Adventure Begins

We made it to Utah in two days instead of our expected three days.  The kids did amazing.  We left on Sunday morning at 4:00 am and drove 11 hours.  The kids slept most of the morning and we made several stops to eat and let the kids play. We finally stopped in Lexington, Nebraska on Sunday evening and got some much needed rest...10 hours.  Monday morning we got up and left at 6:00 am and decided to try and make it the rest of the way since were soooo close.  We made it to our new home in Nibley, Utah around 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm Texas time.  The kids once again did fabulous.  Thanks Papa and Grandma for the DVD player!  It was definitely a life saver.  When we got to the house, we unloaded the car, which took about an hour.  Who knew my car could hold so much stuff.  The kids had a wonderful time climbing up and down the stairs.  They are now finding new ways to go up and down.  I believe it's their favorite part of the house.  Chad did an awesome job unloading and putting away a lot of our things from the movers.  We will spend the next couple of days finishing unloading boxes and organizing the remainder of our things.  We still have a lot left to do.  A little overwhelming, but it will get done.  The one good thing is that the weather is beautiful enough to open the windows all day long and see the mountains everywhere you turn.  It really is an amazing scenery!  We can't wait for our family and friends to come see us.

Homemade Bread

Because of all the recent events in our country right now, going to buy staples, like bread, in the grocery store has become very difficult....
