Happy Halloween 2013

October flew by and all of a sudden it was Halloween!  We had a great time trick or treating with lots of friends and visiting scary houses all together.  We carved pumpkins, painted pumpkins, and ate too much yummy candy!

Rhyder painted a pumpkin at his babysitters house.  It turned out so cute, just wished I could keep it without it spoiling.

Party Day!

Rhyder had a great birthday party with lots of family and friends.  When I asked him what kind of party he wanted, he said "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."  We decided to do it at the indoor aquatic center in Clinton, so the kids could just swim and play and have fun!  He was so excited to get to swim indoors and for all his friends to be there.  He had a great turnout and had a blast with all his cousins and friends.  After his party, he wanted pizza and s'mores.  So we ordered pizza and made s'mores outside on the fire.  Happy Birthday Rhyder, We love you!

Rhyder's Actual 4th Birthday!!

Rhyder's actual birthday fell on a Thursday.  He didn't have school, but got to go to Mrs. Pam's, his babysitter, that day and play with his friends.  After school, we went to the house where Rhyder got to open up a few gifts that he had received and FINALLY get to chew a piece of gum, which he has been dying to do for a long time.  We had Family Farm Night at the fairgrounds that evening.  There was a petting zoo, several tractors to climb on, a hayride, face painting, apple and pumpkin exploring and stick horse races.  The kids had a blast and when it was all over, Rhyder wanted to go eat at Golden Corral.  When we got home, we sang to Rhyder and had yummy birthday cake!  It was a great day for celebrating

The First Day of Preschool, 3 Year Old Class

Rhyder started back to preschool at Seeds of Faith Preschool in the 3 year old class.  He had been talking about going back to school about halfway through the summer.  This year, one of his good friends from the babysitters, Ian, got to be in his class.  He was so excited!  After school we took him out to eat at his favorite restaurant in Clinton, Golden Corral.  His favorite thing to eat there is the cotton candy!

 

 

 

The Night Before Preschool

I know this is a little late, but I really wanted to get it in the blog.  We have continued our night before school tradition with Rhyder.  He got a surprise ball on the night before he went back to preschool.  He had been anticipating it since Addison got hers before she started school.  It just so happens that Rhyder didn't start until 2 weeks after Addison did.  So on the night before, we got all ready for the first day of preschool by getting clothes ready, backpack ready, and taking a bath.  After Rhyder was all ready, he got to dig into his ball!
