Addison is the Big 5!

I can't believe my baby girl is already 5 years old.  You know when people tell you time flies by really fast, to cherish every moment, they aren't lying.  It really is true.  Addison has grown up into a precious girl.  She is so loving to everyone, especially her brother.  She loves music and makes up her own songs all the time.  She loves to dance and tumble all over the furniture in our house.  We did the dance thing, so I think it's time to try tumbling.  Addison is a very smart little girl.  We were just practicing counting to 100 and she did awesome.  I think she is just about ready to enter into Kindergarten, although I have a feeling she would rather stay in preschool forever.  She loves it!  Addison has adjusted so well to moving to Utah and leaving all of her friends and school in Stephenville.  She has made lots of new friends at her new school, but still talks about her friends and teachers back at Kinderbridge.  Addison loves playing outside and enjoys all sports from football to soccer.  She is definitely a Daddy's girl, which I love and I know Chad does too.  We decided to ask her a few questions about herself so that we can always remember our little girl at age 5.  I'm sure her answers will change often the older she gets.

What is your favorite color?  green and red (I'm not sure where that came from, because it has always been pink)

What is your favorite food?  shrimp (This girl can eat anybody under the table with shrimp; she is a lover of very diverse foods including mushrooms, onions, green and black olives, and curry)

What is your favorite drink?  sprite (Addison is not a milk drinker at all, most of the time it is water, but has to be with ice)

What is your favorite song?  Amazing Grace (We have sang this song to Addison every night for the past two years, like I said above, she loves music)

What is your favorite book?  Tangled books (of course it is, she just had a Tangled birthday party; Addison loves to read and always has. I hope that continues forever with her)

What is your favorite animal?  zebra

What is your favorite movie?  Tangled

What is your favortie thing to do outside? play football (She's been playing football outside a lot with Chad.  She just loves doing anything with him)

What is your favorite Disney Princess?  Rapunzel (Shocker!)

What is your favorite thing to do at school?  play with friends

Who is your best friend?  Addie (a little girl also born in Texas, that moved here with her family.  Her dad also works for Schreiber)

What is your favorite TV show?  Full House (I think that might have been mine and Chad's favorite tv show also when we were growing up, funny how things come back around)

What do you want to be when you grow up?  Teacher (She would make a great one. She already teaches Rhyder all kinds of things.

Addison,
Daddy and Mommy are so proud of the young lady you have grown into so far.  You put a smile on our face each day.  We love you more and more every day.

Homemade Bread

Because of all the recent events in our country right now, going to buy staples, like bread, in the grocery store has become very difficult....
